Rebar Detailing and Placement Drawings

The City Rebar turns structural and architectural drawings into placing drawings and bar lists that fabricators can cut and bend and ironworkers can install. We have detailed reinforced concrete since 1992, for projects from one ton to 25,000 tons, and we follow the CRSI Manual of Standard Practice.

What you receive:

  • CAD placing drawings prepared in RebarCADS (AutoCAD) or aSa (MicroStation)
  • Material bar lists in multiple formats
  • Drawing revisions and change-order support as the design changes
  • Customer-specific FTP access for drawing transfer, with in-house printing and scanning when you need hard copies

Rebar fabricators, concrete contractors and general contractors. We also manage rebar shop drawings on behalf of outside companies.

High-rise, bridge, airport and civic work across the country, including World Trade Center Tower 4, 432 Park Avenue and 605 West 42nd Street in New York; the Goethals Bridge; JFK Terminal 1; the St. Louis Art Museum; and the Sacramento Convention Center Expansion.



How a detailing job runs

  1. You send drawings and specifications through the quote form or by FTP.
  2. We review the documents and confirm scope, schedule and deliverables.
  3. We prepare placing drawings and bar lists to the agreed standard.
  4. You review and comment. We revise and resubmit, and we handle changes as the project evolves.
